The Science of mRNA Vaccines

Join us as we welcome Stephanie Langel on The Science of mRNA Vaccines. Do you remember first hearing about mRNA vaccines? For most of us, it was when the COVID vaccines were being developed. However, mRNA vaccines date back to before the recent COVID outbreak and advances continue to be made. Dr. Langel will discuss strategies for developing vaccines for pandemic preparedness and how mRNA vaccines specifically came out on top during the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. She will talk about lessons learned from the SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccine rollout, public acceptance, and what it means for future pandemics.
