Join us as we welcome Lisa Rainsong as she talks about Listening to Climate Change: what our local birdsongs and insect songs can tell us.
Lisa Rainsong holds a Doctor of Music Arts in Composition from the Cleveland Institute of Music and is a member of CIM’s music theory faculty. She earned naturalist certificate from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and applies her musical teaching experience to classes, workshops, and programs on birdsong, amphibian song and insect song. She does her own field recording, and her field research on crickets and katydids – including range expansion - takes her around the state.
