The Science of Light Pollution

Join us as we welcome Robin Gill, Astronomy Education Specialist, The Wilderness Centerooster, and Laura DeGroot, Assitant Professor, Department of Physics, The College of Wooster on the Science of Light Pollution:

Dark Matters!  We’ll look at what light pollution is and explore the impact that light pollution has on all living creatures. We will also explore the difficulties light pollution creates in observing astronomical objects.  Dark skies start at home – learn how you can reduce light pollution and make your home dark-sky friendly.  Become a dark-sky citizen scientist and help with this important work.
