Mauricio Oliveira is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Animal Sciences at The Ohio State University. His research interests include lactation biology and mastitis. Mauricio earned his BS in Animal Sciences at the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) and completed his MS at the University of São Paulo and Mississippi State University.
Nicole Sword MBA BSN RN IBCLC, has been a nurse for 14 years, specializing in obstetrics and lactation, and is the Wooster Hospital Lactation Program Coordinator. She started the lactation program at Wooster Hospital in 2018, assisted in opening an outpatient lactation clinic and donor drop off/use of donor milk for babies at Wooster hospital. She is also a member of OLCA (Ohio Lactation Consultants Association).
Kirstin Fortune APRN-CNP, IBCLC, has been a labor and delivery nurse for 7 years and a family nurse practitioner the last 3 years. She has specialized in pediatric outpatient services and is now the provider of Bloomington Breastfeeding Care. She is a member of AANP, the Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.
